❄If I Stay (Book Review)❄️

Hello my readers! This will be my last review of the year as for now, I will be reviewing Gayle Forman's novel If I Stay. This young adult novel is about Mia Hall, who deals with the aftermath of a car accident involving her family. In a coma she later realizes that she is experiencing an out-of-body experience, while watching her friends and extended family members in the hospital. Also she has to decide whether to stay or to leave the world.
Characters:
Mia Hall- She is a 17-year-old girl that is quiet, kind, and a musically gifted. She often struggles with belonging because she is from a rock and roll family and also has a rock star boyfriend, she often feels out of place.
Adam Wilde- Is Mia's boyfriend, who is very handsome and loves music. He is a singer and plays the guitar while being apart of a band called "Shooting Star". It is later revealed that he is the reason Mia decided at the end of the book.
Kim Schein- Is Mia's best friend and is sarcastic and obedient to her emotional mother. In the novel it is described she and Mia are very similar.
Teddy Hall- Is Mia's younger brother and admires her. Mia thinks of him as her own son.
Kat Hall- Is Mia's and Teddy's mother and loves rock music and her family. She is described in the novel as "tough as nails, tender as kittens".
Denny Hall- Is Mia's and Teddy's father who is quite rebellious but mature. He steps up to be a father and eventually gives up his band in favor of teaching.
Overall Ranking:
I give Gayle Forman's novel a 5 out of 5 stars because I was critical about how the out-of-body experience would be played out in this novel but it flowed really well. I liked how we received all these flashbacks that create suspense and emotion towards Mia and what she is going through. Before I read it the movie had already premiered and I was given away the ending by my friends but the ending was still unexpected and left on a cliffhanger when I read that part of the book. Even though I'm critical about cliffhangers I still enjoyed the book and it made an exception. I would recommend this to any young adult reader and adult reader because the novel is mature and discusses many topics and themes through out the novel. I will try and review the movie adaptation and the sequel to this novel soon. Don't forget to continue following me and my sites below. Till next year my wonderful readers!

☆The Fault In Our Stars(Movie Review)★

*Read with caution! Spoilers ahead!*
Hello my beautiful readers! Today I'm going to review the film adaptation of The Fault In Our Stars. First off this movie is about a 16-year-old girl named Hazel Grace Lancaster, who was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She is forced by her parents to attend a cancer patient support group, where she meets and falls in love with Augustus Waters. I give this movie a ranking of 5.5 out of 5 stars because Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort were excellent choices for the main roles and they didn't look like 20-something-year-olds trying to play teenagers. They also did a great make-up job for Shailene's character because I don't like it when they put too much make-up on a character that isn't supposed to have any on. I disliked that they didn't include some scenes in the movie but left them as deleted scenes, which I didn't want but it still was a great film. Also when they tried acting out these beautiful quotes from the novel I found it cheesy because I thought it could work but it didn't look right in reality. Most of the scenes with Hazel and Augustus were absolutely beautiful but some scenes felt a little too much romance. Regardless this adaptation from the book is true to the story and I would recommend a friend to come over and watch this film. Don't forget if you haven't already read my review for the book The Fault In Our Stars, I will leave a link below. Also don't forget to continue following me and my sites listed below! Don't forget to be awesome my readers!

✿Perks of Being A Wallflower (Movie Review)✿

*Please read with caution! Spoilers ahead!*
Hello my lovely readers! Once again I'm going to review another movie I will be reviewing the movie adaptation of Stephen Chbosky's The Perks of Being A Wallflower. Before I give my final ranking, I would like to address a couple of my opinions towards this movie. The plot of the story is about finding yourself and being able to fit in. If you haven't read the book I would suggest that you read my review to get a further understanding of the movie. Which will be listed below at the end of this review. The plot is still reflected from the story but like many movie adaptions that were based off of a book some scenes have to be cut. In this case, I felt that the movie stayed true to the book because Stephen Chbosky in fact directed his book into a movie adaptation. Also the movie had a talented cast because of Logan Lerman and the beautiful Emma Watson. In the movie I felt that the main character, Charlie, was portrayed as a mature teenager but in the book Charlie is a little childish instead of being mature. Regardless, I had no problem with any of the other cast members. The cinematography for this film was beautiful because it stayed true to this vision that anyone who read the book would view how the book would play out as a movie. If that makes any sense. Also I would like to note that the film had a really good soundtrack that I fell in love with and would listen to it on repeat. As a result, I would give this movie a 5 out of 5 stars because of the points listed above. If you haven't watched this film please do I feel like anyone could relate to this coming of age story. I'm sorry this is a short review but I hope these posts make up for my absence earlier in the year. Don't forget to follow for more reviews and to follow the sites below. Till then my lovely readers!

☆The Fault In Our Stars (Book Review)★

Hello my lovely readers! Today I will review John Green's book The Fault In Our Stars. This book takes the point of view of Hazel Grace Lancaster, who has thyroid cancer. She attends cancer patients support group at her mother's behest. However, during a support group meeting she catches the eye of Augustus Waters. The story follows Hazel and Augustus story as friends but eventually blossoms to a romantic relationship.
Characters:
Hazel Grace Lancaster- Is a 16-year-old teenager who was diagnosed at age 13 with thyroid cancer. She is intelligent and diligent but keeps most people at a distance, knowing her death will ultimately hurt them until she fell in love with Augustus.
Augustus Waters- Is a 16-year-old teenage whose osteosarcoma caused him to lose his leg. He is seen as having keen wit and has a tendency toward performances-he reveals in grand romantic gestures. He falls in love with Hazel during a support group meeting.
Isaac- Is a mutual friend of Hazel and Augustus. He is blinded by cancer and was dumped by his girlfriend Monica. He is embodies skepticism and rage.
Mrs. Lancaster- Is Hazel's mother and is an emotionally kind woman who has made her life to care for Hazel.
Mr. Lancaster- Is Hazel's father and is caring but prone to tears. Like Hazel's mother, he only understands Hazel's cancer broadly and spends much of his time at work.
Peter Van Houten- He is the infamous author of An Imperial Affliction but is later to be revealed a drunk and deflects emotion with walls of intellectualism and cruelty.
Overall Ranking:
John Green's novel is given a ranking of 5 out of 5 stars because it is and isn't a typical love story/ YA novel. The story surrounds many themes such as life and death which is something I can forward opinions on and discuss further. Even though, the plot has funny aspects it still has some serious aspects that are mentioned. The characters, that are acknowledged are battling cancer but at the same time want to live a normal life. They are also shown to have a hint of adult like relationship even though they are portrayed as teenagers. The book creates beautiful scenery that can be painted in your mind such as the famous Amsterdam scenes. You can imagine that John Green took careful thoughts into the Amsterdam scenes because he traveled to The Netherlands to get inspiration for this novel long before the book was published. A couple of other ideas that I would like to mention are, the tone and attitude of Hazel and the poetic feel that the novel hints. I feel like John Green can be some how shown in Hazel's character but at the same time stay true to a young teenager is something I favorite. I would recommend this novel to anyone because it has all these concepts that were mentioned above. Please give this novel a try if you haven't read this novel. Be sure to follow me and my sites listed below. Don't forget to be awesome! Till then my lovely readers!

✿Perks of Being A Wallflower (Book Review)✿

This book has been on my to-review pile for ages so, enjoy. Perks of Being a Wallflower By Stephen Chbosky, begins with Charlie, the main character, writing about his traumatic experiences as a freshmen in high school, the death of his friend, and a year before, the death of his favorite aunt. He befriends senior step-siblings, Sam and Patrick, while Charlie quickly develops a crush on Sam. He also experiences everything that a typical high schooler does through out the story.
Characters:
Charlie- Is a 15 year old boy who is sensitive, and quiet at the beginning of the story. He is taken notice for his passion for reading and writing in English class.
Sam- Is a senior in high school, who is laidback, down to earth, and outgoing. She is often free spirited and has a wild side.
Patrick- Is also a senior in high school, who is outgoing, very bold, is funny, and is never afraid of an adventure. He is friendly and approachable but within his circle of friends they know he is homosexual and had a private relationship.
Mary Elizabeth- Is very into social issues such as the Native Americans, objectifications, and bourgeois. Charlie shortly dates her but breaks up with her.
Alice- Is bubbly with a mystery. She likes vampires and wants to go to film school.
Candice- Is described as being mean but is actually loving and understanding when she wants to be, which shows she deeply cares for Charlie.
Overall Ranking:
This coming-of-age novel is given a 5 out of 5 stars because the novel explores the main character's freshmen year. Which many who have gone through high school would relate to this type of scenario. It also explores many cultural references to American literature that I remember reading when I was a freshmen in high school. I absolutely loved the idea of finding-your-friends-when-they-find-you-kind-of-thing. The concept that I was skeptical about was the idea of this book being told through letters made by the main character but I find it refreshing and it wasn't as difficult to read. The book is short but has many sides to it such as moments that are funny and serious at times. I recommend this book to all young adult readers and expect a movie review to be posted soon. Till then my readers!

=Reached (Book Review)=

Hello my wonderful readers! Today I'm going to review the last book from the matched series, Reached By Ally Condie. The story is told in the point of views from Cassia, Ky, and Xander. Before, Cassia finally found Ky but they are separated again. Cassia is supposed to work within the society, while Ky works outside the borders. Soon the real story is shown in a twist of events through out the dystopian world.
Overall Ranking:
There is many new characters to include but I decided to not talk much about them because it would be like giving away the plot. However this book is given, a 4.5 out of five stars because the series gave many obvious answers towards the end but there were several unexpected turns. Such as the "real" enemy isn't the rising, why Ky was put into the matching pool, and the favored memory of Cassia's grandfather. While reading this trilogy I found that the common theme was Cassia breaking from society and no longer taking their authority. Which is seen on the cover and resembles the symbol of the red pill, that is revealed in this book. I wasn't satisfied with this book because the artifacts that were mentioned in Matched wasn't given any clue to where they may be found and what happens to the world? Does the world return to it's "normal" state or does it "change" in the end? Many of my questions weren't answered but I felt some what accomplished when I finished the trilogy. I still feel the author brought many poetic images through this book but it didn't feel over bearing as Crossed and it felt like the language and tone moved swiftly with this concept. Also, the reason I was unable to finish this book was that the beginning was still boring and lagging but when I reached the turning point of the book I started to enjoy myself once again. In conclusion, you should start this trilogy because it is dystopian but has many twist and turns that I personally favorite. Please give it a try and continue following me on all my accounts listed below. Till then my readers!

♥Matched (Book Review)♥

Hello beautiful readers! Sorry for the long absence I have been busy with school and it has been a little rough but I think I should at least squeeze in a review from my finished books. As you can tell from the title I will be reviewing "Matched" By Ally Condie. This YA novel is about a perfect world referred to as the "Society" and in the book we are introduced with the main character Cassia. Which starts with her own match banquet, the match banquet is when citizen's of the society see who they are to be matched or married to. Since the society is perfect, a glitch appears in the system and leaves Cassia to question the society for she is caught to be in love with Ky, who is a society outcast, and Xander, who is her childhood friend and her match. The story unfolds with her questions and decisions of the society.

Characters:

Cassia Reyes- Is a 17 year old and is the story's main protagonist. She is matched with her old friend Xander but is caught in love with Ky. She lives with her parents and younger brother.
Xander Carrow- He is an old friend of Cassia and secretly in love with her since he can remember. He is also good friends with Ky and is known to be the golden boy and somebody to look up to. Xander is Cassia's perfect match.
Ky Markham-He is an aberration, a person who is no longer a citizen due to his fathers acts of rebellion against the society. Which caused him to live with his aunt and uncle, and their son was murdered and is something that has never happened in the society. Because he is an aberration he could never be put in the matching pool. Ky also has feelings towards Cassia even though she is matched with Xander. He is also extremely jealous of Xander.

Overall Ranking:
I give this book a 4 and a half out of five stars because the storyline is easy to follow. I personally find bits of the story interesting such as the society thinking they have too much culture and deciding 100 songs, 100 poems, 100 pieces of art..etc. to have kept in the society. I also like how Cassia is secretly learning how to write even though the society forbids it and how she makes up games for her little brother in order for him to go to school for the first time. Which the society does not allow anyone to behave against the society. The other part to the reason I gave this rating is that this book is written by an English teacher. Which the author makes most of the book filled with lots of imagery but I find most of it over the top such as making the character refer to the color green a lot after she wore that particular color after her match ceremony. On that side note I found Matched to be a great read and it made me want to buy the next book and I will also review that soon. I for sure recommend it to any YA, dystopian, and romance readers because it is an easy read and it makes you question what your society is like and what it might be. I hope this makes up for my absence and I will get back to reviewing soon. Be sure to follow me on here and on the sites listed bellow! Let me know what you think if you read this book or let me know if you are interested down in the comment section.

➳The Hunger Games (Movie Review)➳

*Please read with caution spoilers ahead!*
Here is another book-to-movie film adaptation review and this one will be on The Hunger Games from the original novel by Suzanne Collins. This film is beautifully done and it starts with the reason of the games which plays a big role in the book and movie. The actors that play the part of the main cast is excellent and very realistic in the movie. As for the differences between the movie and book I can say they didn't include the Mayor and Mayor's daughter which they play a small role but at the same time a big role because the Mayor's daughter gave Katniss the mocking jay pin, which this symbol plays a significant role in all three books and the film didn't include it. They also made Katniss see Cinna die before the games, which isn't supposed to happen till the next book. Although they didn't include these things they can't include everything it's a book and it would make this film into a huge extension on the length of time. As for the tributes in this film they did a great job especially when it came to Rue's death it was very dramatic to watch and made it feel like it was realistic. As for all these costumes in the film they were excellent and stayed true to the book style especially Katniss's hair and clothing. Most of the scenes I personally liked were Katniss and Peeta moments, Kantiss hunting, and the ending of the games. My overall ranking on this movie is 5 and a half stars because most of the small things that weren't included bothered me a little but it was a good movie adaptation to the book. I will be reviewing more stuff soon and be sure to follow me on all things movie and book reviews.

➳The Hunger Games (Book Review)➳

Hey everyone here is another book review but this time I want to focus on a different series which is The Hunger Games books. This book is set in a nation known as Panem, established in North America after a big apocalyptic event. This nation has the wealthy Capitol and twelve surrounding, poorer districts united under the Capitol's control. District 12, is where the book begins, is located in the coal-rich region that was formerly known as Appalachia. As punishment for a past rebellion, the capitol holds an annual Hunger Games where one boy and girl, between the ages of 12-18, represent there district for the games. In the games they have to kill one another in order for one of them to become a victor. The book's perspective is from Katniss, a 16 year old girl, who takes her sister's place for the games in distract 12. As for the other tribute it is Peeta Mallark , who helped out Katniss and her family when they starved by sending bread for them.
Characters:

Katniss Everdeen- The book's perspective and is an independent, quiet, and fierce girl. Her looks are typical from where she lives which is long dark hair, olive skin, and grey eyes. She hunts illegally to help her mother and sister. She is skilled in archery and has a friend who hunts with her named Gale. Both their fathers have died in a mining incident that happened five years before and Katniss's mother fell into deep depression and she became less trustworthy of her. Katniss takes the place as a tribute in the hunger games for Prim.
Peeta Mallark- He is the male tribute for distract 12 and is a son of a baker. He is charismatic, which helps him in the games. He has confessed his love to Katniss in an interview and their relationship grows throughout the story.
Gale Hawthorne- He is an 18 year old and is best friends with Katniss and her hunting partner. They met when Katniss was trying to hunt for food for her family following both their father's deaths. He has three younger siblings and is skilled with snares and archery. His looks are typical for a person living in district 12 and is described by Katniss as bring any girls attention in district 12.
Haymitch Abernathy- He is middle aged and is an alcoholic. He won the second quarter quell, the 50th hunger games, which occurred 24 years before this book. He is a mentor to all the district 12 tributes and is consumed with guilt and forced to participate in the games which he hates. He is very sarcastic and pulls it together when Katniss confronts him, which makes them aiming toward winning and survival of the two tributes.
Primrose Everdeen- She is Katniss's younger sister and is 12 years old. She looks like her mother, blond hair and blue eyes. She is thoughtful and sweet. Her name is pulled as for the games but her sister takes her place. Before she leaves she asks if Katniss would win the games for her.

Overall Ranking:
This book is given as a 5 out of 5 stars because I thought the story line is perfect. Although I hate how Katniss took Peeta's love as a strategy in the games. I loved most of the emotional scenes set in this book during the games. Such as Rue's death and the survival of food and water in the games. The games made the capitol a piece of dirt and it hints that Katniss will rebel when she learns more secret and deals with her problems about the future. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is into dystopian novels and YA readers. I felt this book went fast and I enjoyed every second of this novel and it is an easy read. I will soon be reviewing the movie adaption of this book and do a book review on another series. I will be updating on this blog with some new things in the works which I hope to get started in please don't forget to follow for more books and movie reviews!

The Sea Of Monsters (Book Review)

*Please read with caution spoilers are ahead!*
Hey everyone sorry for the delay! Any ways this story starts with Percy having a nightmare about Grover being chased by a cyclops and the nightmare ends with a booming voice "Mine!". After being startled it is the last day of school for Percy Jackson at Meriweather Prep. He has also made a friend name Tyson, who is always being teased by bullies. When it came to P.E for both of them the bullies are later to be revealed as Laistrygonians as Annabeth appears to have been following Percy so she could talk to him about her dreams. She helps Percy and Tyson defeat them and all three of them return to camp in the Gray Sisters taxi. The sisters tell Percy "the location he seeks" is 30, 31, 75, and 12. He is confused what this means but something else happens, the camp is under attack by the Colchis Bulls but Clarisse and some of her cabinmates are trying to defend. With help from Tyson, Percy, and Annabeth manage to defeat the monsters, but Percy finds out that Tyson is a cyclops. Clarisse tells them that Thalia's tree, that protects the camp, has been poisoned by an unknown intruder and is dying. Also the magical borders that protect the camp are failing. Clarisse tells them that Chiron has been fired because he is suspected of poisoning the tree ,and is replaced by Tantalus, a prisoner who has been brought from the fields of  Punishment. Later at dinner Tyson is claimed by Poseidon and the night goes on with Percy having another dream of Grover. This time Percy and Grover talk (He had earlier had made an empathy link, allowing them to communicate sometimes while Percy is sleeping). He tells Percy that he is trapped in The Sea Of Monsters by a cyclops named Polyphemus. The dream ends with Grover saying "it" is here but Percy wakes up. He later tells Annabeth about his dreams and asks if she understands what the dreams mean. She tells Percy that he might have found the Golden Fleece and they both realize that it could cure Thalia's poisoned tree. At night during the campfire both Percy and Annabeth ask Tantalus to send someone on a quest to find The Golden Fleece ,which he does but sends Clarisse. Percy gets angry at him but doesn't know what to do. While everyone goes to sleep Percy sneaks out to the beach and meets Hermes who gives him 3 duffel bags full of money and clothes, a magical thermos that holds the four winds, and box of Minotaur-shaped multivitamins. He tells him that he must choose to board a passing cruise ship. Annabeth and Tyson arrive, and they decide to go to the cruise ship before security harpies consume them. Percy receives help from his father, who sends them three hippocampi, and together the end up on the cruise ship, The Princess Andromeda, which is revealed to be owned by Luke. They are captured and learn that Luke is trying to reform Kronos, the titan lord. They manage to escape on a lifeboat and go to Chesapeake Bay, where Annabeth leads them to a hideout that she had created a few years earlier when running away with Luke and Thalia. Tyson gets a box of donuts which he got from a nearby donuts shop (Monster Donut). They are attacked by a Hydra, which is killed by Clarisse who has a boat of her own that was given to her by her father Ares. The boat is the Civil War boat which sails to the Sea Of Monsters (Which has moved to the Bermuda Triangle) and Clarisse plans to destroy Charybdis and also encounter Scylla, who devours the captain of the ship and some of the crew members. The engine over heats and explodes, and Clarisse's boat is destroyed and eaten by a monster.  As for Percy and Annabeth they make it out (Tyson is presumed dead), but lose their duffel bags; plus the thermos has been emptied because Annabeth opened it "a little too far". They eventually find an island where Circe lives, and dock at her island, which turns out to be a spa. However, Percy is turned into a guinea pig and is put in a cage with six others. Annabeth frees him by using the multivitamins to become resistant to magic, and gives some to Percy and the others, who become human again. It turns out that the other six guinea pigs were Blackbeard (Son of Ares) and his crew and Percy and Annabeth use Blackbeard's ship to get away. As they are sailing, they pass the land of the Sirens. Annabeth, who knows that the Sirens tell of their innermost desires, she decides that she wants Percy to tie her to the mast and have her listen to the Sirens songs. However, Percy forgets to disarm her and she manages to free herself, almost reaching the island, but Percy manages to save her; in doing so, he learns that the Siren's song made Annabeth see what she wanted most: her parents reunited and Luke converted back to the side of the gods, all having a picnic, in front of a brand new Manhattan, rebuilt by Annabeth. He grabs her before she can get out of the water and gets her back under, creating a giant air bubble so she can breathe, and they make it back to their ship. On board Annabeth tells Percy that her fatal flaw is hubris (deadly pride). They reach the island of Polyphemus- were they find Tyson safe and alive - and save Grover with the help of Tyson and Clarisse, recovering the Fleece in the process. They make their way to Florida, and Percy sends Clasrisse, with the Fleece, back to camp. Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Tyson are captured by Luke, and are taken back on the same cruise ship. Percy manages to contact camp with an Iris-message, tricking Luke into admitting he poisoned Thalia's tree. In a duel with Luke, Percy is nearly killed. He is saved by Chiron and his relatives, the "Party Ponies". Chiron is rehired after proven not guilty, and the Fleece cures Thalia's tree of it's poison; however, Thalia herself is spewed out of the tree. Chiron realizes that everything that had happened had been to bring back Thalia, just to "put another chess piece into play".
Characters:
Tyson Percy's half brother; he is initially portrayed as a homeless child before Annabeth helps Percy realizes that he is a cyclops. He is also a son of Poseidon.

Overall Ranking:
This book is shorter than the other books of the series, quick, and an easy book to read. I loved everything that happened and the ending is quite a twist in the plot of the series which I find it very interesting how Thalia will play out in the next book. I also liked Rick's style of the book because sometimes I forget that I'm reading a different perspective other than a girl's which he plays out the story in brief detail which is easy to understand. The things I hate was just the cliff hangers that the author has been doing and makes me think what will happen to Thalia or if Luke will be stopped. Regardless, I recommend this book if you enjoyed the first of the series. Please don't forget to follow me for more movies and book reviews!

ϟThe Lightning Thief (Movie Review)ϟ

*Please read with caution spoilers are ahead!*
The plot of the movie is about the same as the book but a lot of changes were made. Some of these changes include many of the characters are much older in the book and Percy is approaching his 16th birthday is a major plot point. Some of the minor characters are missing such as Clarisse, who is a secondary character. Also, in the book Percy doesn't discover his father is Poseidon until after his first capture the flag game. The quest doesn't involve gathering all three pearls during the journey, rather Percy receives them from a sea spirit once they reached L.A. Luke doesn't betray the camp until the very end when he introduces his new sword "backbiter" and poisons Percy with the scorpion. Other details in the film that weren't included is that Annabeth's hair was supposed to be blonde, the oracle, and Mr.D. I'm kinda disappointed about this film I expected it to go with the book but movies that are from books can't have everything. As for the actors choices they were great especially Logan Lerman as Percy which he portrayed outstanding because he brought this character to life and I can just say that I'm speechless with his role in the movie. As for the the rest of the cast members they did a great job. Other than that I would give this movie a 4.5 out 5 stars because minor details were left out but the movie was amazing to watch especially the fighting scenes and Mount Olympus looked amazing. The characters and monsters were portrayed well and I can only expect the best for the sequel. Be sure to follow for more movie and book reviews!

♞Breaking Dawn Part 2 (Movie Review)♘

*This review contains spoilers! You've been warned!*
On November 16,2012 the movie of Breaking Dawn Part 2 was released. I was lucky enough to see it on the premier date because I pre-ordered my tickets by the time the theater released them a month ahead. I know lets get on with the review right?
As we all know the last movie is left off from the part Bella wakes up from her transformation as a vampire. Which it does in this one after a long introduction of the characters and then we get to see how she hunts but becomes controlled when it comes to human blood. Throughout the movie I loved the humor and the scenes the director included. The scenes I loved most was the moments with Renesmee, the arm wrestling scene, and the scene when Alice sees Renesmee's future. One part of the film got me a little mad at,according to Kaleb Nation, Stephenie Meyer intended a twist on the confrontation between the Volturi and the witnesses for the Cullens. Which got everyone in the movie theater to get all jazzed up for. I knew it was going to be this scene but it almost made me re-think. As for the characters I loved all actors and actresses that played the different clans especially the Romanian duo. They portrayed them very well. As for the lead characters they were as always excellent. My rating on this movie is that I give it 5 out 5 stars because it was similar to the book and the actress who played Renesmee was amazing and proved everyone's theories on this impossible movie. I never thought that this movie would ever happen and I never could have imagined this movie. Thank you Stephenie Meyer for this book and the fandom! I will update soon and be sure to check out Breaking Dawn Part 2!

ϟThe Lightning Thief (Book Review)ϟ

*Please read with caution spoilers are ahead!*
Hey everyone so this my first book review on Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. This book is about Percy Jackson a 12 year old boy who suffers ADHD and dyslexia. He has been kicked out of 6 different schools and now attends Yancy Academy but not for long. When he and his class go on a field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan New York City, Percy's pre-algebra teacher, Mrs. Dodds attacks Percy by revealing she is one of the three furies from the underworld. Percy goes home to his stepfather Gabe ,which he nicknames him smelly Gabe, and his mother Sally. Gabe mistreats Percy and his mother but she takes him to Montauk in Long Island for a three day vacation. In the middle of the first night, Percy's closest friend and former classmate Grover Underwood, who is revealed to be a satyr, comes and warns Percy and his mother that they are in danger. Overall Review:
I've read the book and heard it on audio because most of the time I didn't get most of the Greek stuff. After I refreshed my Greek mythology knowledge everything made sense and I suggest that if you don't know much of Greek mythology please re-read some and you will get this book. I absolutely love this book because of it's references and humor towards mythology of the Greeks. I didn't dislike any of it and I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it is an easy and quick book to read. If any of you like Greek mythology or young adult genres then read the series. I will review the movie and the rest of the 4 books soon! Don't forget to follow for more reviews on book series, movies, and twilight related stuff!
